Alpenglocken Tuned Cowbells

Alpenglocken is the German term for Alpine Bells. They are the same thing as Swiss named Almglocken. They are roughly tuned A=440 cowbells in the style of those found across the alpine pastures in the western alps. They can be used with or without a metal clapper. When using a metal clapper they can be shaken individually or hung on a stand for that classic herd sound on the farm. Often the Bells are mounted without the clapper in a layout with needed notes and played with mallets creating a beautiful and unusual sound. With each bell there is the corresponding note and a measurement. The measurement is the height of the bell in inches, not including the handle.
